Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dynamic Charter and Group Sales Manager to lead our efforts in prospecting, securing, and closing group sales and charters.

As the Charter and Group Sales Manager, you'll be the driving force behind cultivating new business opportunities and exceeding company-wide sales targets. You'll play a pivotal role in curating unforgettable experiences for our customers, ensuring that every charter and group event is a resounding success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Actively prospect in community to drive new business, supporting the company’s brand.

· Responsible for responding to inquiries developed by the Sales Manager and through other marketing efforts.

· Work collaboratively with internal staff to coordinate logistics of all group sales and charters to ensure the best guest experience.

· Be the point of contact for all internal and external communications to support each charter or group.

· Work with sales and marketing team to develop new and innovative sales strategies in addition to added value content ideas for marketing collateral.

· Develop strategic action plans to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.

· Be an active presence in the community by attending relevant networking events, association meetings etc., to drive brand awareness.

· Manage and report sales activity through our CRM tracking system.

· Assist with all company-wide programs and events as needed. Events that are included but not limited to the annual employee appreciation party, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Miami International Boat Show and Tortuga Music Festival, etc.

· Demonstrate consistent achievement of sales goals and performance metrics.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Must be motivated, outgoing individual with a strong sense of initiative and personal leadership, demonstrating the ability to function independently while contributing to team initiatives.

· Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

· Must have a reliable and properly insured personal vehicle to use for company business.

· Must have superior verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Salesforce CRM experience a plus but not required.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include but not limited to evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on the company’s needs.

Education and Experience:

· 3-5 years of Sales and Marketing/ Business Development experience.

· Associates Degree in relevant area of study and/or corresponding experience

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
